The ultimate reels post structure for maximum engagement

Are you struggling to create reels or TikTok content that truly resonate with your audience? When I first started posting reel length videos to my social media accounts, I spoke from the heart without much thought to the structure. However, I quickly realized that being authentic and real is important, but it's not enough to ensure maximum engagement. That's when I created a method that not only helps me stay true to myself but also consistently performs better than any other structure I've tried.

Introducing The 11 Method, a game-changing post structure that I personally created and have been using to achieve remarkable results. The 11 Method is a simple yet highly effective structure that has led to an average increase of nearly 200% in engagement compared to other structures.

The structure of The 11 Method

So, what's the secret to The 11 Method? It's a structured approach that incorporates 11 key elements in a specific order to keep your viewers engaged and interested from start to finish. Whether you're giving advice on a particular topic, breaking down complex concepts, or sharing personal experiences, The 11 Method has got you covered. So, what exactly does this method entail? The structure is as follows:

  1. Opener/Hook
  2. One, Subject 1
  3. Problem or Description
  4. Solution
  5. Two, Subject 2
  6. Problem or Description
  7. Solution
  8. Three, Subject 3
  9. Problem or Description
  10. Solution
  11. Call to Action

As you can see there are 11 parts to this post. Each part requires only a few words and can be completed in the space of 15 - 30 minutes depending on the subject you choose. There are 5 key elements to The 11 Method:

  1. The Opener/Hook: This is where you introduce what you will be talking about in your video. It might sound something like: “Here are 3 ways to improve your health”
  2. The Subject 1,2,3: This is where you introduce one of the 3 ways you can achieve what you have laid out in your opener. For example: “one, eat foods that are rich in iron”
  3. The Problem/Description 1,2,3: This is where you elaborate on the problem or describe it in richer detail. For example: “Studies have shown that on average 50% of Americans are depleted in iron which can lead to heart disease, fatigue and mental health issues”
  4. The Solution 1,2,3: This is where you give the listeners a solution to the problem that you have just described. For example: “A simple way to improve your iron levels is by eating foods like kale, spinach or red meat”
  5. The Call to Action: This is where you ask your audience to take action towards something. It might be to visit your profile, comment on your video or to check out your products and/or services. For example: “for more simple ways to improve your health, check out the link in my bio”

Since I started using The 11 Method, I've noticed a remarkable increase in my reach and engagement on social media. This structured approach has not only made my posts more effective, but it has also made the entire process more enjoyable. If you're looking to improve your social media game, I highly recommend giving The 11 Method a try. Take a few minutes to reflect on your area of expertise and brainstorm how you can create a post using this powerful structure.

Examples of The 11 Method

If you’d like to see The 11 Method in action I have copied the script from one of my posts below and added a link to the video so you can see it in action:

  1. Here are 3 ways modern living is destroying our health
  2. One, we have smaller mouths
  3. Studies show that on average the human mouth has shrunk by 8 % due to us predominantly eating soft foods and can lead to crooked teeth and restricted airways
  4. A potential solution to reverse the problems of a shrunken mouth is to chew mastic gum
  5. Two, artificial light exposure
  6. Studies have shown that the amount of sleep we get has dropped by around 20% in the past 100 years.
  7. This is due partially to artificial light exposure which became widely used in the 1930s
  8. To work around the effects of artificial light exposure on sleep consider turning off most lights 2 hours
    before bed
  9. Three, unnatural footwear
  10. Before the use of shoes, calluses were our natural footwear. Consider spending more time barefoot if you can
